Membership Fees

The membership fees for Eurocarers are set by the General Assembly (Article 8), on a proposal from the Executive Committee.

As the cost of the fees for some potential members was a serious barrier to them joining Eurocarers, a scaled table of fees was proposed and accepted.

The standard Fees for new members are:

Annual Fee

  • Full membership: €250
  • Associate Membership: €200
  • Observer membership: €25

These Annual Fees apply to existing members.

The categories of membership are defined on the website www.eurocarers.org/membership.php

For new organisations in Eastern and Central European

For new organisations in Eastern and Central European countries a starting fee of 10% of the full amount will apply. This will be increased by a further 10% each year until their contribution reaches 50% of the full fee, at which time a review will take place.

The actual cost of membership, to both carers’ associations and research organisations, for Full & Associate Membership within these countries will be as follows:

Full Associate

Year 2010 10% of the membership fee = € 25 € 20
Year 2011 20% of the membership fee = € 50 € 40
Year 2012 30% of the membership fee = € 75 € 60
Year 2013 40% of the membership fee = €100 € 80
Year 2014 50% of the membership fee. = €125 €100
Observer Membership will be €25 for all applicants from all countries.

Rest of Europe

For countries from the rest of Europe a reduction of up to 50% is possible. Associations will have to apply making a case to the Executive for this facility to be granted.
